I use many coping skills as adjuncts to my antipsychotics and antidepressant in treating my schizoaffective bipolar type. And I find them all to be very effective. I very been using them for the last 17 years. Mine are:
Exercise (yoga and aerobics)
Meditation
Good Nutrition
Study (Foreign language and piano performance)
Reading (eclectic interests)
Music enjoyment (classical piano concerts and videos)
Glamping (camping with all the modern amenities)
Travel (national and international)
Volunteering (with the Church)
